Charlotte & Scott - An Allerton Wedding
I felt honored to be chosen to document Charlotte and Scott's wedding
day on the 7th of June. It was held inside of the Allerton
Mansion near Monticello, Illinois. The mansion was gorgeous!!!
I had horses as I was growing up
and really enjoyed the decorations (BEST cake ever! ) and the
outfits!! The bride, groom and many of the guests looked as if they
could have stepped right out of my all time favorite movie 'Lonesome
Dove'

The flower girl was a darling, I loved her gloves. She looked like a little 'mini' bride!

Charlotte's dress was the most beautiful color. I couldn't believe how well it matched the decor of the bridal suite in the Mansion.
This is a little twist on the usual shots of the bride's shoes, I found the groom's boots and couldn't resist!
I found Scott right before the ceremony deep in thought. I love the room and the expression.
The ceremony was held in the Allerton Mansion Hall. What a unique and beautiful place for a wedding!

After the ceremony and before dinner was served Charlotte and Scott lounged for a moment in this beautiful circular room. Wood and windows - it was the perfect spot to get a few shots of them together. This few minutes gave me my favorite images of the day. I feel like the shots from this room really showed the couple's personalities. I really love the one below!! I really had a great time documenting their day!
